The basic principle of the ESWL system, which is the first preferred treatment method in the treatment of kidney stones, is to focus the energy produced in a source to a point and to bring the stone to this focal point and break it with shock waves applied from outside the body.

The specially designed radiolucent treatment table can be easily adjusted thanks to its powerful electric motors. MULTIMED EM treatment table allows all endourological procedures to be performed under fluoroscopy with optional foot supports.

Precise focusing of the stone is the most important factor affects the success of the treatment. Theoretically, it is possible to break any stone that can be seen. With its modular and computer-controlled structure, MULTIMED EM can be used with U-Arm Fluoroscopy Device and/or Computer Controlled Automatic Ultrasonic Localization System Robot Arm for precise focusing of stones.
